This project was sponsored by Aveiro\u2019s City Hall in collaboration with the AveiroArte Association, commemorating the association\u2019s 50th anniversary.
A collective art exhibition was organized to mark this milestone, requiring a complete visual identity across various formats and platforms.<\/p>

I co-led the design process alongside one other designer. Together, we developed the full visual strategy for the event \u2014 from concept to execution.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Our main challenge was to innovate visually while maintaining the association\u2019s existing identity.
The exhibition\u2019s branding needed to stand out from previous communications \u2014 visually richer and more celebratory \u2014 without losing connection to AveiroArte\u2019s visual heritage.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

To reflect the diversity and depth of the exhibited works, we chose to incorporate different painting textures throughout the visual identity. Each format used a unique texture, showcasing the variety of artistic voices within the exhibition while maintaining a cohesive system.<\/p>

Our texture selections were driven by aesthetic quality and color harmony with the surrounding layout. We opted for a minimalist sans-serif typeface to ensure clarity and balance against the rich, detailed textures. This allowed the artwork-inspired backgrounds to shine without compromising legibility or design coherence.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
