CoolbrAIn
Branding & Social Media Management
CoolbrAIn is a European research project focused on developing advanced chiplet cooling solutions for low-consumption embedded AI processing at the nanoscale. Positioned at the intersection of science, engineering, and innovation, the project required a clear and credible communication system capable of translating complex research into an accessible and coherent narrative.
I was responsible for the full branding and communication development of the project, including the communication strategy, logotype, visual identity system, website, and a complete set of design templates.
I continue to work on the management of CoolbrAIn’s social media, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
The main challenge was to create a visual and communication system that could accurately reflect a highly technical and scientific project, while remaining understandable and engaging for diverse audiences, from researchers and academic partners to institutions, industry stakeholders, and the general public.
Another key objective was to design a brand flexible enough to support a wide range of outputs, such as scientific reports, presentations, posters, and digital platforms, without losing clarity or consistency. Balancing scientific rigor with visual accessibility was central to the project.
The project began with a strategic analysis of CoolbrAIn’s goals, target audiences, and positioning within the European research landscape. From this foundation, I developed a cohesive communication strategy that informed all visual and structural decisions.
The visual identity was built around principles of precision, clarity, and reliability, reflecting the project’s technological depth. A modular brand system was created to ensure adaptability across formats, from printed scientific materials to digital communication.
The website was designed as a central communication hub, structured to clearly present the project’s mission, methodology, partners, and progress. Design templates for presentations, reports, and posters were developed to support long-term consistency and ease of use by all project members.
Social media strategy and content management play an ongoing role in reinforcing the brand’s presence, highlighting milestones, and maintaining a coherent visual language over time.
The result is a robust, strategic, and flexible branding system that strengthens CoolbrAIn’s identity and supports its communication needs at every level. The visual and communication framework improves clarity, enhances credibility, and facilitates engagement with both specialized and non-specialized audiences.
The branding has contributed to a strong and professional presence across digital and offline formats, positioning CoolbrAIn as a forward-thinking and credible research initiative within Europe’s scientific and technological ecosystem.
I continue to collaborate with the project, ensuring the brand strategy is consistently applied across all communication channels, both online and offline.
